How to prepare:

  • 4 Weeks Prior: Do NOT wax, thread, or tweeze hair prior to a treatment appointment. The hair needs to be in the follicle for the procedure to work.
  • 2 Weeks Prior: Avoid any kind of tanning (spray tanning, sun tanning, or tanning beds) and sun exposure.
  • 1 Day Prior: Please shave any area of the body to be treated either the morning of, or the night before (except for face).

Aftercare:

  1. The treatment area(s) may feel slightly similar to a sunburn. This may last from just a few minutes to more than a day depending on your skin's sensitivity level, hair thickness, and hair color. You may apply a cool compress, ice pack, or soothing product such as aloe vera, and Aquaphor healing ointment until any redness and swelling subsides.
  2. Avoid hot water for 24-48 hours.
  3. Do NOT pick at crusts or scabs. If they appear, they should heal in about one week.
  4. You may notice hair resurfacing in a few days or weeks after treatment. Gently exfoliate the treated area(s) to help the dead hair lift from the follicle.
  5. Do NOT scratch or pick at any area that itches or shows signs of healing. You can apply over the counter hydrocortisone cream.

FAQs

Is laser hair removal suitable for all skin types?

Absolutely! Laser hair removal technology has advanced significantly, making it safe and effective for a wide range of skin tones. Whether you have fair or dark skin, there's a tailored solution to meet your needs and achieve the smooth, hair-free skin you desire.

Does laser hair removal hurt?

Don't worry, the discomfort is minimal compared to traditional hair removal methods like waxing or epilating. Many people describe the sensation as a mild tingling or snapping feeling. Plus, the latest laser systems come with built-in cooling mechanisms to keep your skin comfortable during the process.

How many sessions are needed for optimal results?

While results vary based on individual factors, most individuals notice a significant reduction in hair after just a few sessions. To achieve long-lasting results, a series of sessions is recommended to target hair growth cycles. The investment in multiple sessions pays off with silky-smooth skin that's virtually hair-free.

Are the results permanent?

Laser hair removal offers long-lasting results. After completing the recommended sessions, you can expect a significant reduction in hair growth. While some fine hairs might occasionally regrow, they tend to be much lighter and finer, making maintenance easy and hassle-free.

Which areas of the body can be treated with laser hair removal?

Virtually any part of the body can be treated with laser hair removal. From the face and bikini area to larger areas like the legs and back, there's a solution to cater to your specific needs. Say goodbye to the hassle of shaving and waxing for good!

Is there any downtime after a session?

One of the many benefits of laser hair removal is minimal to no downtime. You can resume your daily activities immediately after each session. Any slight redness or sensitivity usually subsides within a few hours. It's a convenient option that seamlessly fits into your busy schedule.
